From Pre-Enrollment to Week 3

From scheduling an initial meeting to the first three weeks of learning, our team is here to guide you through each step. 1. Pre-Registration and Initial Contact

We suggest everyone schedule a meeting with our admissions team to discuss your child's needs and our program’s suitability. This conversation is crucial for aligning our program with your educational goals. If your family has a child who requires accommodations, begin by filling out our pre-registration form. 2. Student Evaluation

After the initial meeting, your child will meet with one of our Montessori guides and others on our team, depending on their individual needs. This session allows the student to become familiar with our environment, and the guide will assess your child's unique skills, interests, and cognitive development to determine if our program is the right fit. This step also helps to build a trusting relationship between the student and the guide. A $140.00 fee will be collected during this meeting to cover the Student Evaluation.

While the outlined process is not mandatory, we recommend it for families who want to ensure that Quantum Montessori is the right fit before proceeding with enrollment. We want to offer the reassurance that families fully understand our personalized model and how our learning experience is. Our program values precise parent involvement and a commitment to our unique educational philosophy.

Expectations After Enrollment

After submitting your enrollment documents and signing the parent contract, please expect the following steps:

• Submit Additional Forms: Quantum Montessori will request you to complete an online form with your student’s "Getting to Know You" form along with any other necessary records (report cards, etc.).
• In-Person or Virtual Meetings:Distance Program: We will schedule a meet-and-greet session to familiarize you with our distance learning setup.
  Homeschool Program: We will arrange the first one-on-one meeting with your child’s guide to discuss personalized learning plans.
  
• Access to School Systems: Ensure that you and your child have access to TUIO (the parent portal), the Transparent Classroom (where we maintain records), and school communications. Please log in to your student or family Google accounts before your first classes or meetings to confirm access to all school systems.
• Equipment and Setup:Families are advised to obtain a laptop, tablet, printer, and noise-canceling headphones to participate in classes effectively.
  Prepare a dedicated learning environment in your student’s space that supports a productive and focused educational experience.

Parent Expectations

• Stay engaged with your child's educational journey by participating in regular communications with their guide and supporting their learning at home.
• Be proactive in completing required forms and accessing all necessary systems and tools to ensure a smooth start to the program.
  

What to Expect After Enrollment through the First 3 Weeks of Learning

The first weeks of school are crucial for setting the tone and establishing a foundation for the rest of the year. Here’s a guide on what to expect during this period:

1. Week 1: Montessori observations and initial assessments will be conducted. Quantum Montessori Guides & Success Coaches will focus on understanding each student's strengths, challenges, and areas for improvement.
   This period is crucial for setting a baseline and introducing the student to the Montessori path, student habits, and expectations.
   
2. Week 2: Weekly one-on-one meetings with your child’s guide will begin.
   During these live individual guidance sessions, Quantum Montessori Guides and Success Coaches will assess each student's engagement and development.
   Additionally, academic elements such as Math, Language, Life Skills, and Science will be introduced with subject-specific activities aligned to the student’s personalized learning experience.
   Light assignments and paper-based activities will be introduced based on each student's needs.
   
3. Week 3: Students will move into more structured learning as the observations and assessments conducted in the previous weeks shape their individualized learning plans.
   The curriculum will begin integrating student interest-based projects with foundational subjects.
   Guides will provide feedback on students' work, helping them set personal goals and adopt independent study time.
   This approach ensures that each student's education is tailored to their specific requirements and delivered in the most effective manner.
